Honestly? I never planned to start a business.

I was always obsessed with candles, but the ones I brought kept giving me headaches. Turns out it was the paraffin, or additives or fragrance oils loaded with phthalates and parabens. So I started making my own, 100% soy, zero of the other stuff and the headaches stopped.

Customers have told me the same thing, some even say my candles and melts don't set off their migraines the way others do.

Then life happened, my husband has open heart surgery coming up and somewhere in the middle of that fear and uncertainty, I took a leap of faith and started bare.

I didn't expect the wax melts to take off the way they did. They overtook everything else. And honestly I get it. Just pop a couple in a warmer, swap scents whenever your bored and go about your day.

Deep down I never believed this business could actually support my family. But every single order, every repeat customer, every person who tells a friend, that dream gets a little more real. So thank you genuinely.
